OK. We had a weird spring but it looks like summer is about to kick in big time. Need a great place to stay while in New York enjoying this summer weather? Look no further than this bed and breakfast with a unique name: Patrice-Lorie Company.
Patrice-Lorie is a colonial house built back in 1906 in Queens, New York. It opened for business in 2001 after being restored and remodeled in 1995. It is conveniently located 2 blocks from the Long Island Railroad Hollis stop and is also close to NYC subway E, F, and J trains. 3 miles from nearest airport, JFK. Limited on street parking.
Rates are reasonable. $125.oo for single occupancy, $150.00 for double occupancy. $100 deposit is required at time of reservation. Accommodations include kitchenette. There is no minimum stay required. Children are welcome but no childcare is provided. Check in is 1:30pm and check out is noon. Continental breakfast, afternoon snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are included with room rate. Breakfast is served from 8am to 11am. Lunch and dinner is available by special request for $delivery menu.
This is a great place for a romantic escape, peaceful retreat or family vacation. The area boasts fine dining, museum, Flushing Meadow Park, Shea Stadium/Citi Field-home of the Mets baseball team, Arthur Ashe Stadium for the tennis buffs and is excellent if visiting college children at St. John’s University or York College.
