About
This is a dream I’ve had for over 10 years. Got the idea from a dear friend and former co-worker, Robert Cornegy, who stated that it would be nice if visitors to New York, especially ethnic visitors, could find things that would interest them in addition to the regular tourist attractions. This would also be a great way for native New Yorkers to know what treasures, nuggets if you will, they have in their very own back yard. Shared the idea with my daughter, Tajuana King and NuggetsintheHood was born. Hope you enjoy and feel free to comment on the posts that interest you.

I thought you might be interested in spotlighting The historic Harlem Stage Gatehouse and its monthly series Uptown Nights at Harlem Stage. Among the offerings: tributes to neo-soul led by Marc Cary(http://bit.ly/fr9XlH) and Small’s Paradise featuring Meshell Ndegocello and Jason Moran (http://bit.ly/gJgTr8). I can send further information.
Best,

Small’s Paradise. Now there’s a throwback name. Feel free to send info. I’m looking for any and all interesting things to do and places to visit in Harlem.
