Celebrate Black History month in Harlem where history, arts, culture, entertainment and cuisine all come together. Here are some options for you.

BTW-the building in the picture used to be a school and was renovated into a luxury apartment house many, many years ago. I lived a few blocks away and walked past this building daily on my way to the subway.

This is a dream I’ve had for over 10 years. Got the idea from a dear friend and former co-worker, Robert Cornegy, who stated that it would be nice if visitors to New York, especially ethnic visitors, could find things that would interest them in addition to the regular tourist attractions. This would also be a great way for native New Yorkers to know what treasures, nuggets if you will, they have in their very own back yard.
